Fort Sint Pieter is perched high above the Meuse river on the south side of the city, and is directly connect with some of the underground tunnels in the Sint Pietersberg hill. The fort dates from around 1700 and is largely still intact, with parts recently restored.
The fort contains several main galleries and circular galleries and bombproof areas, which you will visit accompanied by a Maastricht Underground guide. Outside, you can enjoy an impressive and beautiful view of the city, the Meuse and the surrounding countryside.
