Private tour City Hall

Maastricht

The grandeur of a bygone era: visit the stately, more than 350-year-old city hall of Maastricht.

The Town Hall on the Markt was built in the years 1659-1664 under master builder Pieter Post. In 2018, the Town Hall was beautifully renovated. The tower, built in 1684, contains a carillon with 49 bells and is still regularly played. The interior is decorated with beautiful and precious tapestries, beautiful stucco, ceiling paintings, fireplaces and chandeliers. The town hall is the daily workplace of the Mayor and the town council. That is why the city hall can only be visited with an Official Maastricht Guide.

From Monday to Friday, the town hall can be visited with an Official Maastricht Guide between 09:00 and 17:00 (with the exception of Tuesday mornings). The price is € 114.00 per guide. In addition, there is a one-time reservation fee of € 35.00. A maximum of 20 people can join 1 guide and a maximum of 2 groups can be guided around at the same time.
