Multitalented Reggy van Bakel presents his new album, featuring compositions for saxophone, bass clarinet, marimba, drums, guitar, and tape. The ensemble brings dreamy soundscapes to life with enchanting visuals.
Inspired by the freedom and subtlety of minimalist onkyokei and wandelweiser music, Reggy, as a composer, explored new artistic waters from his background in percussion, analog electronics, ambient, pop, and contemporary and classical music. His new work is an exploration of human connection, the power of live performance, and the balance between the mechanical and the organic.
This album presentation is made possible in collaboration with Music Hub Brabant.
