In the documentary "Union," we follow the remarkable efforts of a diverse group of warehouse workers who start a grassroots union campaign at an Amazon fulfilment centre in Staten Island, New York. Led by the charismatic yet underestimated Chris Smalls, this group forms the Amazon Labor Union (ALU) and embarks on a challenging journey against one of the largest and most powerful companies in the world. Without support from national unions or politicians and facing internal divisions, they stand before a daunting challenge. Filmmakers Brett Story and Stephen Maing document this struggle from day one, presenting a gripping human drama about the fight for power and dignity in today's globalised economic world.
