TIME TRAVELLERS brings classical masterpieces to life in Maastricht city centre! Discover 12 contemporary video works, projected from empty shop windows, inspired by painting and sculpture from the 15th to the 19th century. Created by internationally renowned artists, these unique video artworks combine the compositions, use of colour and themes of the old masters with modern digital techniques.
Be enchanted by moving still lifes, landscapes and flower arrangements that speed up, slow down or freeze time. These works tell powerful contemporary stories and address current themes and political statements. A special highlight is video artist Jacco Olivier's site-specific projection on the Servaas Bridge, on display from March until the end of July.
