Museum visit

Easily park your car between the Limburgs Gouvernement and the Bonnefanten in Q-Park Bonnefantenmuseum. This car park may not yet have been discovered by many, but it is an ideal location as you can be in the city centre in no time. Here you will also find the iconic red star; great for a photo opportunity! Start your day with a visit to the museum for an inspiring kick-off. Discover various exhibitions, ranging from modern works of art to old masterpieces. You can wander around for hours here.

Hot drink, - delicious snack

After your museum visit, a walk along the Maas towards Plein 1992 is highly recommended. Follow the atmospheric garlands of lights through Charles Eyck Park and enjoy the breathtaking view of the city. On one side, you can see the Hoge Brug, the Sint Servaas bridge and the towers of the Onze Lieve Vrouwe basilica; on the other, the Sint-Pietersberg (St. Pietersberg hill) looms large.

Fancy a heartwarming drink, such as coffee, tea or hot chocolate? Settle down at Café Zuid or Coffeelovers. Prefer an extensive lunch? Then walk a little further to BIKKE, where you can enjoy Scandinavian-inspired dishes in a tastefully decorated setting.

Another convenient car park is Q-Park de Griend, located at the Griendpark, right on the River Maas. Look for the big, red star here! Once you've found it, walk under the Wilhelmina Bridge and stop at NOON. Here you will enjoy panoramic views of the Saint Servatius Bridge and the city. Depending on when you arrive, you can wander into NOON for lunch, dinner or just a drink before exploring the city further. It is a trendy place where you can eat well or just relax.

Of optical illusions - to strolling around the Market Square

From NOON, you can walk up the Wilhelmina Bridge via stairs. Cross the bridge and you arrive at Mosae Forum, a shopping centre where you can shop and visit the interesting 'Museum of Illusions'. Imagine yourself in a world of illusions, holograms, puzzles and special rooms. After the museum, walk straight to the Market Square. Is there a market? Then browse the stalls and look for fresh fruit and vegetables, vintage treasures or beautiful gifts.
