Charles Eyck Park
The Charles Eyckpark in Maastricht is a peaceful city park on the river Maas. Ideal for walking, relaxing and enjoying nature, water and architecture.

Charles Eyckpark, a green haven of peace along the Maas
On the east bank of the Maas, in the Céramique district, lies the Charles Eyckpark, a nice place to walk and relax. This relatively new city park, named after artist Charles Eyck, forms a green connection between Plein 1992 and the Bonnefanten.
Overlooking the Maas River, historic ramparts and a pond with fountains, the park offers a varied landscape. The thoughtful layout, designed by Swedish landscape architect Gunnar Martinsson, combines lawns, trees and walking paths to create a peaceful, pleasant environment. Along the park are several cultural hotspots, such as the Centre Céramique and Café Zuid, where you can take a break.
Thanks to the pedestrian bridge over the Maas River, the park is well connected to the City Park and the city centre. Whether you take a short walk or seek a moment of peace and quiet, Charles Eyck Park is a pleasant place in the middle of the city.
