Through a labyrinth that once comprised more than 20,000 corridors, a Maastricht Underground guide takes you underground to see the names and drawings of people who worked here every day a few hundred years ago. Your guide will make sure you don't get lost in the man-made galleries, which once measured 230 km in total and now measure around 80 km. For centuries, the people of Maastricht and their valued possessions found refuge in the caves beneath their 'mountain' in times of war.
