Welcome to our city! A city full of history. Aside from visits to the many historic buildings and monuments, Maastricht offers plenty of opportunity to go shopping and to enjoy its many bars, restaurants, and outdoor terraces. We know how to enjoy the good life, which means that a trip to our city simply must include a visit to our City Brewery. We invite you to enjoy our special brews, a guided tour with a beer-related treasure hunt, our beer shop, or to simply savour one of our gorgeous dishes paired with one of our draught beers, on the banks of the river Meuse.

Our Taproom

Take a load off your feet in our Taproom or on our terrace, right next to the water. Enjoy one of our own brews with a perfectly paired plate of food and with the hospitality Maastricht is renowned for. It’s situated at walking distance from the famous Vrijthof square and offers a spectacular view of the river Meuse!

Aside from our home-made beers, we also offer several specials on our sixteen beer taps. These are unique single-batch beers, filled with the brewer’s unbridled creativity, which enable us to keep our offer varied and tuned to the different seasons.

Beer & Food

Apart from our exquisite beers, you can also enjoy a good lunch, tasty snacks, or a cosy dinner. We collaborate with a few local suppliers so we can also use our own brews as ingredients in our dishes. Also, our in-house beer sommeliers are more than happy to assist you in selecting just the right brew with every dish. Lovely food with just the right beer, it’s a perfect combination. Guaranteed!

The Ridderzaal Hall

Offering a lovely view of the centuries-old Sint Servaes bridge and the river Meuse, our Ridderzaal hall (or ‘Knight’s Hall’), situated on the first floor, offers the perfect setting for a pint, a spot of lunch or a lavish dinner. It can also be booked for groups and meetings.

Terrace

Right on the banks of the river Meuse and basking in the sun, we think this is the hottest terrace in town! Of course, our selection of home-brewed beers has something to do with that as well. Try one of them in just the right spot to enjoy the perfect sunset.

Guided Tour of the Brewery

Are you a real beer geek and excited to hear all about our story? Then book a tour of our brewery and experience Maastricht’s own beer history, our brewing process, and our business dream. We offer tours every weekend at set times, but for groups we can always make arrangements to suit your preferred date and time.

'The Brewer's Secret' - Group Activity and Treasure Hunt

‘The Brewer’s Secret’ is an active group game that is set in the centre of Maastricht. It takes two hours’ time, during which you discover two of Maastricht’s best-kept secrets, namely the city borough of Wyck, and The Brewer’s Secret! This game allows you to get acquainted with the city of Maastricht in a unique way.

• Treasure Hunt

The treasure hunt begins near the famous Sint Servaes bridge. From there, you take a plunge into the city of Maastricht to gather the clues and pointers you need to unravel The Brewer’s Secret.

• The Room

The hunt ends in the brewer’s room, where you’ll set out on a search for the recipe of Maastricht’s very first special beer. The room has a well-stocked fridge, as well as the ingredients you need to put together the recipe. Can you make out all the clues within the time limit and come up with the right recipe?

Looking for local beers or a special gift set? Our beer shop offers a wide range of beers from our own brewery, local beers, barrel-aged specials and chilled IPAs, but also beer merchandise and gift sets. Take home a special souvenir from your visit to Maastricht!
