Femmeuse celebrates its 20th anniversary with a jubilee concert in the atmospheric (former) Theresiakerk.
The choir sings well-known and lesser-known works in various languages and from different style periods, from the 16th century to the present, both a cappella and with accompaniment. The repertoire is largely arranged by the conductor himself, making it unique. The alternation between old and new music ensures a unique experience.
The program illustrates the development of Femmeuse since its founding. Singing ‘oet de kop en doorein’ results in a particularly beautiful sound. Musical guests are the members of ‘Cordes en bleu,’ a professional string quartet led by Michel Pieters.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to chat and toast to 20 years of Femmeuse.
