The Festival Borrel Noten has been organised since 2020 to offer a series of small and intimate concerts in the historic heart of the city between the concerts of André Rieu (July) and 't Preuvenemint (end of August). From the start, this initiative has been a hit, attracting around 4,000 visitors each year to the Faliezusterpark.

First week
A selection from the programme, which is festively opened on Wednesday, 24 July by two young singer-songwriters, Mala and Femke Verheyden with her band. On Thursday, Maxime x Glyn will perform their R&B & Soul. Friday, 26 July, the stage is for the Brass Band UrangUtan, and over the weekend there will be klezmer music from La Rosa, world music from Cuadro Flamenco and Tango A Quartet, and the Americana band 10₵ Trinkets will close the first week of Borrel Noten ’24 on Sunday evening, the 28th.
