Experience the magic of Bachs Matthäus-Passion, a masterpiece first performed three hundred years ago in Leipzig's Thomaskirche. Together with lyricist Picander, Bach created a grand work for two orchestras, two choirs, children's choir and vocal soloists.
Jos van Veldhoven's last performance with the Nederlandse Bachvereniging was praised by the Volkskrant for its transparent sound, dramatic moments and swinging performance. Be deeply moved by Bach's brilliant rendition of the Passion of Jesus, with beloved arias such as Erbarme dich and Aus Liebe.
