South of Heaven Open Air

South of Heaven Open Air is a new heavy metal festival taking place at the Gashouder Maastricht, located in the Bosscherveld industrial area. This terrain, with its rough but atmospheric look, perfectly suits the intense atmosphere of a metal festival and is easily accessible by bicycle, public transport and car.

The festival offers an impressive programme with more than 20 acts across two stages. The first names announced include Meshuggah, Hatebreed, Textures, Sacred reich, Wolfbrigade, Midnight, Gutalax, Legion Of The Damned, Severe Torture, From The Crypt and Ripsaw. This line-up promises a mix of internationally celebrated metal veterans and emerging talent, ensuring an unforgettable experience for metal fans.

South of Heaven Open Air is organised by three renowned parties:

• Muziekgieterij Maastricht: A young music venue that since 2004 has become the live tastemaker of the south and the Euregion. Inclusiveness and diversity are paramount, and it offers full-fledged programming for a wide audience.
• Doomstar Bookings: Specialises in booking rock, metal, hardcore, punk, and roots. Doomstar Bookings is one of Europe's leading booking agencies and also produces its own concerts and festivals.
• The Tribute Agency: Europe's largest tribute agency, offering a wide range of music styles and organising many concerts, festivals and parties.
