This unique exhibition offers an in-depth look at the work of one of Leipzig's most intriguing contemporary artists. With around 75 works, including large religious paintings, still lifes, portraits and landscape watercolours, Triegel invites you to reflect on meaning, faith and identity.
Inspired by the Italian Renaissance, Mannerism, Spanish Baroque and Flemish masters, Triegel's art combines tradition with modernity. His provocative and surprising visual discoveries challenge you to reconsider the role of traditional art and religious symbolism in our modern, secularised society.
